Dhanakosa Buddhist Retreat Centre offers a wide range of retreats including yoga, hillwalking, Tai Chi, arts and alternative health, all complementing a programme of introductory meditation teaching. Additionally, there are meditation and Buddhist study retreats designed for those with a more regular practice.
Dhanakosa is beautifully situated in the southern part of the Scottish highlands in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and this setting provides ideal conditions for retreats.
Dhanakosa is currently offering a variety of online retreat experiences to bring the magic of the Glen to your home. Check out our online retreat calendar for more information.
Coronavirus and the 2021 programme
Rising COVID cases in the UK and increasing restrictions have left us with no reasonable alternative but to temporarily suspend residential retreats. We are hoping to be able to resume in-person retreats again soon for people from Tier 2 areas and below. In the meantime we are we are offering half-day and week-long retreats online in January and February. Check our online retreat calendar for details.
The 2021 residential retreat programme is open for bookings with reduced numbers. We appreciate that there is considerable uncertainty regarding what will be possible and for whom. However, we are working hard to continue to offer retreats where it can be done safely and appropriately under these difficult circumstances.

We also have a rich library of meditation, talks and yoga teaching, all for free and online. You can find out more and how to connect with us here.
