Sophie’s approach to yoga is gentle, inquisitive and playful. Through her classes, she hopes to help people to come into greater relationship with their bodies in a way that is safe, supportive and empowering. Attention is paid to noticing body sensations and learning how to respond to these sensations with movement and breathe to bring your whole being back into balance.

Sophie has been practicing yoga for 10 years and started teaching it in 2017. Sophie has training in Hatha, Yin, Yoga Nidra and trauma-sensitive approaches to yoga and mindfulness, as well as a master’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. She lives in Glasgow, with the Scottish Highlands are her playground and Dhanakosa as her sanctuary.
