Vajrasara is an experienced retreat leader and certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication, and Focusing. She leads workshops in skilful communication, conflict resolution, team-building and empathic listening. She also works as an Integrative Counsellor and mediates between those in dispute. Vajrasara’s work is influenced by an interest in nature, poetry and psychology. She’s also keen on singing, writing, running and friendship. She spent 17 years at the London Buddhist Centre, where she worked in a Buddhist women’s cafe team, then ran the FWBO Communications Office. Eight years ago she moved to Somerset with Nagamudra, and set up the Frome Buddhist community. Vajrasara joined the Triratna Buddhist Order in 1999.
Open to all, these retreats are suitable for both beginners and those with more experience, but no previous experience is assumed. All these retreats include introductory meditation teaching and periods of silence.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) offers skills to open our hearts, be alive to our values, and express ourselves freely without blame or guilt. Communication input will be interwoven with meditation, simple ritual, some silence, free time & fun. No prior experience necessary. Vajrasara is a certified NVC trainer & experienced retreat leader.
