Pasadini has been a practicing Buddhist/meditator since Y2K. She enjoys the simplicity, intimacy and honesty that meditation is/requires of her, and feels deeply honoured to be able to introduce others to meditation, and Buddhist practice. She lived at Dhanakosa for two years, and now stays in Glasgow full time with her wife and dog, and leads retreats at Dhanakosa several times a year.
Originally hailing from Eastern Canadian shores, but having spent her whole adult life in the US, until 2012, she will forgive you if you think she sounds American. Its like totally totally awesome dude.
Regulars - Triratna
These retreats are for people who are already practicing within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Community. Previous experience of the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditations and of the 7-fold Puja will be assumed.
We’ll use the twin tools of attention and kindness to find our way out of the claustrophobic maze of self-referential views, into the clear light of day. Our time together will be spent mostly in silence, listening to the Dharma, meditating and reflecting. Poetry, film, music and art will help illuminate the themes of compassion and emptiness.
