February Half-day Retreat: Awareness is Revolutionary
Moksadhi first came across Buddhism in Nepal and encountered Triratna at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre in 2013. After participating in a 5 month residential Dharma LIfe course at Adhisthana in 2016, she moved to London to immerse herself in Buddhist practice, living in community and working for Lama's Pyjamas charity shop. She completed her ordination training at the London Buddhist Centre, getting ordained at Akashavana in 2019. Moksadhi has a long standing love of the wilds of Scotland and has been involved in hill walking retreats at Dhanakosa since 2017. She joined the community at Dhanakosa in June 2020 to pursue her love of the elemental wilds in relation to her Buddhist practice more fully.

Awareness is Revolutionary
February 10th 2021 1015 - 1300 (GMT)
Join Moksadhi to explore the aphorism 'Awareness is Revolutionary'. What is awareness and what does it mean to be aware? And why is that revolutionary?
Please arrive by 10.15am to allow time for arriving, saying hello, settling in and making sure our devices are well adjusted for an optimal experience. You won't be able to join the retreat after 1030 so please be on time. This will include a led meditation, a short presentation and the opportunity to meet in small groups (3's or 4's) to share experiences and formulate questions for later. There will be a ten minute break as we approach halfway but also please close your eyes and take it easy if you start getting screen fatigue at any time. The retreat will finish by 1pm.
To fully benefit your half-day retreat we recommend that you keep your phone off (along with TV and Radio) for the whole morning. So from the moment you wake, you can devote your morning to mindfulness, meditation and reflection. You can schedule time for your own practice before you tune in at 10.15 and in this way you’ll be more receptive to our gathering and really benefit.
Bookings will close at 4pm on Tuesday 19th January.
