Going Deeper - meditation & yoga
Pasadini has been a practicing Buddhist/meditator since Y2K. She enjoys the simplicity, intimacy and honesty that meditation is/requires of her, and feels deeply honoured to be able to introduce others to meditation, and Buddhist practice. She lived at Dhanakosa for two years, and now stays in Glasgow full time and leads retreats at Dhanakosa several times a year.
Originally hailing from Eastern Canadian shores, but having spent her whole adult life in the US, until 2012, she will forgive you if you think she sounds American. Its like totally totally awesome dude.
Ginny started practicing yoga in 1995, teaching in 1999 and now offers a diverse range of classes mainly in London, encouraging students to develop their own personal practice.
Her focus is on body awareness through Indian yogic traditions of Asana, Pranayama and relaxation practices, integrating this with Chinese yogic traditions of Qi, meridians & there pertaining organs and the five elements.
She infuses all practices with fun, taking us into the unexplored field of body, mind & emotions, to evoke potential for personal growth & transformation of ourselves.

Inalu Ruth Antoli -is a yoga teacher and body movement therapist. She completed the Iyengar yoga teacher training in Edinburgh and studied in Pune, India. She further developed her practice following the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli. She has also studied Thai Massage and Shiatsu, which greatly enhances her work and makes it truly holistic.
Her passion for working with the body began 20 years ago, initially through contemporary dance and currently improvised movement, butoh dance and expressive arts. For her awareness is core to the practice, grounding ourselves into the body, into the present moment, inviting our inner wisdom to shine. Out of her research and explorations in working with the body she also offers Fluid Body, a conscious dance movement practice, a space to develop creativity, awareness, expression and vitality through the moving body.
An ideal first regulars retreat. These retreats take themes from our introductory programme and introduce a stronger Buddhist context through meditation, teachings, up to 3 days of silence, ritual and chanting.
Open to anyone who has done an introductory retreat or has been attending a local Buddhist centre, is familiar with Buddhist practice and is looking to take it a bit deeper.
Going Deeper retreats are an ideal first regulars’ retreat. They are suitable for anyone who has already done an introductory retreat, or who has been attending their local Triratna centre and wants to take things deeper.
Going Deeper – with Meditation and Yoga will emphasise a body-based approach to meditation supported by the mindful body work of Yoga to help us develop a fuller physical and emotional awareness. We will continue exploring the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana but also introduce a stronger Just Sitting and reflection element to the practice. These retreats will also include an introduction to Buddhist ritual and the sevenfold puja. Longer periods of silence than on introductory retreats will support a deep and rich experience of ourselves and others.
Yoga teaching is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners and will include elements of embodied movement.
