On this retreat we will explore the 16 contemplations of the Buddha’s teaching on awareness of the in-and out-breath from the Anapanasati Sutta. This simple and profound practice is a complete path to awakening. Through bringing awareness and attention to our direct experience we can cultivate both tranquillity (shamatha) and illuminating insight (vipashyana).
