February Half-day Retreat: When I give, I give myself
Moksadhi first came across Buddhism in Nepal and encountered Triratna at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre in 2013. After participating in a 5 month residential Dharma LIfe course at Adhisthana in 2016, she moved to London to immerse herself in Buddhist practice, living in community and working for Lama's Pyjamas charity shop. She completed her ordination training at the London Buddhist Centre, getting ordained at Akashavana in 2019. Moksadhi has a long standing love of the wilds of Scotland and has been involved in hill walking retreats at Dhanakosa since 2017. She joined the community at Dhanakosa in June 2020 to pursue her love of the elemental wilds in relation to her Buddhist practice more fully.

When I give, I give myself
February 10th 2021 1015 - 1300 (GMT)
The poet Walt Whitman writes "Behold, I do not give lectures or a little charity, When I give I give myself".
You're welcome to join Moksadhi online in exploring the practice of generosity and gratitude, both giving and receiving. We'll spend the morning exploring the theme through the practice of meditation, a short talk and small group reflections.
Please join us at 10.15 to settle and say hello. The zoom room will be locked at 10.30 and we'll stay online through to the end of the retreat at 1pm. As well as the meditation period there will be hourly breaks built in to refresh your energy. This is a chance to come together in shared practice once more.
This retreat will be running online using the zoom meeting platform. This works in most web browsers, and you can also get free apps for all major mobile platforms too. You don’t need to pay for an account to take part.
Bookings will close at 4pm on Tuesday 9th February.
