Rewind, Refresh, Renew - ONLINE

Friday, 3 December 2021 to Sunday, 5 December 2021 2021

This online weekend will be an opportunity to explore what it means to practice meditation, what helps and how we may apply the practices to every moment in a day to give rise to the possibility of a more easeful happy life.   The weekend will offer an opportunity to re-connect with our meditation through practice, talks and discussions in smaller groups. The retreat is suitable for those already familiar with the the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana meditation practices.

Hillwalking and Meditation

Friday, 3 September 2021 to Friday, 10 September 2021 2021

Going Deeper retreats are an ideal first regulars retreat. They are suitable for anyone who has already done an introductory retreat or, who has been attending their local Triratna centre and wants to take things deeper. Going Deeper – with Hillwalking takes the established successful Hillwalking retreat format and by intensifying the practice enables us to connect more deeply with our experience both in the shrine room and in nature.

Wild Swimming, Embodied Movement & meditation

Friday, 21 July 2023 to Friday, 28 July 2023 2023

This retreat will take a playful approach to reconnecting with the body through the elemental experience of water and through movement. Each day we will have the opportunity to swim in the local lochs and rivers as well as other explorations of water and wet places. We will also be using movement to support embodiment and connection. There will also be introductory meditation teaching, daily collective meditation practice, and a practical contemporary look at some traditional Buddhist teachings.
