Nature, Walking and Swimming

Nature is for many of us a vital source of spiritual nourishment in an increasingly busy world. We combine traditional Buddhist teachings with the simple practice of spending time in the rich and beautiful landscapes that surround Dhanakosa.

Teaching will include an introduction to meditation, nature awareness practice and guided walking or swimming options particular to your retreat to suit different levels of fitness. All retreats include meditation instruction, periods of silence, and introduction to the Buddhist tradition including elements of Buddhist ritual, appropriate to the level of the retreat.
